Communication certificate Neuro-Linguistic Programming

5 days in Brussels

NLP is an approach to applied psychology that enables us to reveal the resources within each of us and to improve individual strategies to achieve desired changes. It is based on the understanding and decoding of "patterns" of excellence, and puts into practice techniques for change.

Understand the philosophy of NLP

  • Learn about the origins of NLP to gain a solid grounding in this approach
  • Understand and adhere to the presuppositions of NLP
  • Distinguish between intentions and behavior, interpretations and reality, body language and verbal communication.

Establish an environment which enables high quality relations

  • Enter into relationships with others and establish effective, non-judgmental, quality communication
  • Develop sensory sharpness, use body language (synchronization) and verbal language (reformulation) with elegance, evaluate the impact of communication (feedback).

Understanding our perception of the world through language

  • Identify representation systems (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) through language (predicates)
  • Discover which sensory filters are most frequently activated
  • Adapt to each other's sensory language for a better understanding

Learn to ask questions

  • Understand the linguistic figures that reveal each person's way of thinking (Meta-model).
  • Question what is imprecise, implicit or confused in language to better understand each other.
  • Avoid misunderstandings by listening carefully to others and expressing yourself with precision.

Decode a person's way of functioning

  • Use the "Index of Computation" model to decode what is going on in a person at a given moment (their emotions, thoughts and behavior).
  • Use appropriate questioning to contrast problem and solution states
  • Clearly formulate the desired change.

Setting an objective

  • Define an objective in a concrete and achievable way.
  • Know how to ask questions around an objective to help achieve it.
  • Define concrete short, medium and long-term objectives (personal, social and professional).

Our teaching approach combines model presentations, demonstrations and practical exercises. Training is active, fun and participative. We will provide participants with a training handout.

We'll be adopting an edutainment approach to learning that's sustainable and relaxed. We will use videos, and participants will receive pragmatic fact sheets covering the concepts and exercises.

Evaluation and certification

Assessment is continuous, with trainers providing participants with feedback aimed at constant improvement and optimal integration of learning. Active participation in the 5-day training will result in a certificate recognized by the IN, the International Association of NLP Institutes.

Professionals in the broadest sense (health, education, support, coaching & consulting), managers, executives, HR, individuals & anyone with a passion for neuroscience.
